Oklahoma’s First Cloud Solution Provider


Cloud Competitive AdvantageLast July, Microsoft quietly announced the Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) program. The goal was to deepen customer relationships exclusively with cloud champions for the best experience and business improvements when moving to the cloud.

Today, we are proud to announce that Matrixforce is Oklahoma’s first Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider.

The commercial cloud revenue for Microsoft is now a $5.5 Billion annual run rate. Microsoft cloud services support millions of business customers worldwide with sustained exponential growth over the last 5 years. The problem is that Microsoft cannot scale a sales and support infrastructure to meet the demand without qualified Microsoft Gold Cloud Partners.

CSP is the next evolution of Microsoft channel programs to differentiate true cloud experts versus the hundreds of thousands of traditional Microsoft resellers. The previous Advisor program is slowly being retired since no specialization was required by resellers and there was little benefit to customers. As a CSP, we offer the following customer benefits:

  • Leveraging the direct access to the expertise and support of the South Central Partner of the Year.
  • Receiving one bill for Microsoft and partner services.
  • Utilizing advanced deployment and provisioning available only to CSP partners.

There are only four Tier 1 Distributors for CSP that will provide a custom portal provisioning and deployment portal for approved Microsoft Partners. Microsoft anticipates approximately 100 national Tier 2 CSP partners like Matrixforce for 2016. CSP partners are required to make various significant investments including monthly billing systems, sales tax filing, direct customer support, maintaining Gold Cloud competencies, and regular customer outreach like Experience the Possible.

Matrixforce will begin transitioning Guardian Managed Services and Office 365/Intune customers over the next few months.  New customers will be automatically enrolled in CSP. Cutover is seamless for existing customers with charges cancelled and pro-rated from Microsoft and subsequent billing originating from Matrixforce. Using CSP, customers will exploit the business value of the world’s leading cloud productivity and security infrastructure with personalized customer service and specialized support through Matrixforce.
